Emily keeps sewing!
This is from Emily's Project Fair at school.    She received  an "Outstanding Achievement" award for her quilt. This was the fourth quilt she has made.  2002 click on thumbnail  to enlarge

Cutting strips.....very carefully!	Sewing on the heart.	Pressing is important
Lots of strips to sew.	Sewing the stripes of the flag.	Sewing the backing in place.
Sewing down the batting.	Trimming the batting.	Turning the quilt right side out.
